Principal's Message

  • At L.E. Willson we are on a "Quest for Excellence"!  We want this quest to be a wonderfully positive influence on the rest of your life.  We want to motivate and inspire one another to learn.  We are excited to be working together and learning together to give our community a bright future and change lives. Our mission is to build the foundation and maximize learning. We focus on learning the standards each day in order to be preparing for college or a career in the future.

We start each day at 7:15 with free breakfast for all students.  Classes begin daily at 7:45.  We understand the importance of promptness and regular attendance.  We encourage the training of these virtues in our students. We will dismiss at 2:45.  If you are interested, we have a State Recognized 21st Century After-School Program.  Here students continue to learn and receive help with homework. Our ICU program keeps parents informed on missing assignments from their student. This ensures that every student completes their work and learns the standards.

We want to welcome you to visit your child for lunch any day.  Student lunches are free.  Adult meals are $4.00.  Know that you are always welcome at our school.

Finally, throughout the year we will host several events such as social media safety tips, family movie nights, Book Fair, as well as other events geared towards both education as well as entertainment.  We want this to be a great year for both you and your children.  Working together we can determine to make that happen.

I consider myself blessed to be a part of such a great faculty and wonderful group of students.  Please feel free to call anytime you have questions or concerns.
