Dear Parent or Guardian:
We are pleased to inform you that Sheffield City Schools will continue to implement the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), an option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs for School Year 2022-23.
What does this mean for you and your children?
This is great news for you and your children! All students currently enrolled in any Sheffield City Schools are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge each day of the 2022-2023 school year. No further action is required of you. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit an application. However, a la carte snack items may be offered at some schools. Please see the listing attached to this letter for a few items and the cost. Please be aware these items may not be available at each school. If we can be of any further assistance, please contact us at (256) 383-0400.
Sincerely,
Bailey Harrison, RD
